The only (decent) picture I could grab from Tempe.

As of now, my official move-in date is July 18th, 2012. SHOULD BE AN INTERESTING TIME.

Plans for the next few days: finish two exams today/tonight (they’re online), take an exam tomorrow, graduate sometime Saturday night, then fly to Tempe sometime Sunday to scope the place out.
I’m definitely excited and happy—that much is obvious. However, I haven’t had the chance to sit and actually think about the move, you know? At this point, graduation and graduate school are little things scribbled onto a grocery list. They seem far off. I don’t think it’s really going to sink in until I’m actually in the process of x, y, and z, and in the midst of trying out furniture in the Tempe IKEA. Or something like that.
Which brings me to my next point: does anyone know a soul or two living in that area? I’ve met a few students online and I’ve got a cousin that lives there, but I’d like to network a little more.
I’ll post more, obviously. The ball, of course, is rolling.
This marks the beginning of my transition; these are the beginnings of my days. Exams in Kalamazoo are winding down and the smallest of things begin to grow unusually significant. And rather than to write them down and keep them hidden from you all, I hope to bring them out in the open and into the light. So come along. Come right along.
